Ken Dignan is an ordained minister and began his ministry education at North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Pastoral Theology; he then attended Seminary at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri where he received a Masters Degree for Biblical Studies and Christian Counseling; and then went on to study through Carolina University of Theology of Manassas, Virginia, where in 1999 he received a Doctor of Theology degree. He has been involved in full time vocational ministry since 1976. He started out as the youth pastor and Christian education director of Maranatha Chapel in Evergreen Park, IL; then Ken assisted the planting of New Life Church in Orland Park, IL; from there he became the youth pastor and assistant pastor at First Assembly of God in Jerseyville, IL (outside St. Louis, MO); he became the Senior Pastor of Living Water Community Church in Bolingbrook, IL and helped lead the church through two building programs and tremendous growth for ten years; in 1991 he founded ‘Til Healing Comes Ministries and spoke in over 100 churches through 1994; then Rev. Dignan became the Sr. Assistant Pastor at The Stone Church in Palos Heights, IL; in 1998 he joined the pastoral staff of Eagle Rock Community Church of Homer Glen, IL, where he has served as the pastor of teaching and preaching, small groups, men’s ministry and congregational life, the Senior Pastor, and currently serves as the Support Pastor.
Besides his pastoral ministry, Ken serves as the founder and president of Til Healing Comes Ministries along with serving as host and executive director of a weekly 30-minute Bible teaching television program on The Total Living Network for Comcast Cable called, “Ken Dignan- From the Heart” and has written two books, “Til Healing Comes” and “Ryan’s Story.”
Pastor Dignan and his wife Joanne got married July 10, 1976 and have 4 sons, Andrew, Patrick, the late Ryan (who passed Dec.14, 2002 at age 20) and Britt. Their son Andrew married Jodi Heckman on Oct. 18, 2002 and they had their first daughter, Riley Ann, Oct. 2, 2008
